Feeling crumbly?

Then you need to register for the Third Annual Monongahela Area Library 2024 Gingerbread House Winter Wonderland Contest.

This contest is sponsored by CFS Bank! 

All baking spirits are bright for this gingerbread house contest. All of you can enter the all-edible, sugar and spice and everything-iced contest. 

Now it's crunch time with some ginger-licious rules.

Businesses, schools, non-profit organizations, and individuals - you ginger it, you can register! Registration is open from November 22, 2024 starting at 12 PM to December 3 at 5pm with an entry fee dough of $25. 

Edible it must be! Hold it together there's more!

We aren't letting the cookie crumble there, registration for any age as well! 

We can't wait to see those stunning masterpieces. 

Registration forms are available at the library or you can download/print the form below.

As we capture decking the halls of the Monongahela Area Library with these ginger gems, you can bring those gingerlicious masterpieces to the library on Dec 4, 2024 at 1pm until Dec 6, 2024 at 3pm. No Gingerlicious masterpieces will be accepted after Dec 6, 2024 at 3pm.

Voting takes place December 6-13. 

How to cast your vote? Voting is $1 per 1 vote, example 5 votes = $5.

Rules: Entry: $25. All edible. Base not to exceed 15 by 15, and not to exceed 2 feet in height. No battery or electrical components, no eggs, or butter icings, or anything that can go rancid or soft in the structure. Only edible decorative objects if baking. Remember to bake days ahead of time due to shrinkage. 

There will be prizes for those Gingerlicious Gems! Special Guests Elsa and Anna will be in appearance on Dec 6 at 5pm. Photos can be taken as well! Hopefully, no one gets Frozen *wink* in the meantime!
